Thank you to everyone in the community who joined the City of Coral Springs this morning in celebrating and supporting the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs at the special Memorial Day Ceremony in honor of the men and women who have given their service and lives to this great nation. Just because Memorial Day is over doesn’t mean you can’t continue to show your support throughout the year. The Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs are continuing to transform Veterans Park by placing engraved bricks along its walkway. The bricks can be purchased to memorialize and honor veterans of all eras and services. The bricks can be purchased for $50 each directly from the coalition. Anyone can purchase and the bricks can accommodate up to 4 lines of engraving. For more information, please check out the website here to donate and get a brick!
The annual Fourth of July celebration at Mullins Park is just around the corner as well! One of our most exciting and anticipated celebrations of the year will begin at 6 p.m on Tuesday, July 4th. Families are encouraged to celebrate the birth date of our country by safely by enjoying a grand fireworks display set to begin promptly at 9 p.m. Free admission, bounce houses, and music are available while small fees will be administered for arts and crafts, food and refreshments. A $3 parking fee will also be assessed for those parking at the Coral Springs Gymnasium. Alcoholic beverages, personal fireworks, and pets will not be admitted into the park (as an extra safety measure, coolers, backpacks, and lawn chairs in a bag are also prohibited). Mullins park is located at 10000 Ben Geiger Drive (NW 29th St) and for more information please call 954-345-2200.
We all hope you come out to both of these special events and show your support for our veterans, this country, as well as this city. We here at Great Florida Homes hope you all have a great and safe summer!
