Community Activities Galore!

No plans for the upcoming weekends? Look no further! The Coral Springs community has some great upcoming events that are fun for all ages. Join us this Saturday, September 20th, from 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the Trash to Treasure Garage Sale. You never know what you will find at a garage sale; as they say “one mans trash is another mans treasure!” The event will take place at Mullins Park. Vendor Spaces are also available for the Trash to Treasure Garage Sale. This popular event offers a great opportunity to buy or sell household and other items. Registration cost is now $45 for a space. Spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. An additional $30-per-space deposit is required and will be returned after the event if the space is clean. The additional deposit must be made by separate check. There will be no refunds for any fees if a vendor cancels their space after payment. The following weekend, September 27th, join the community for the International Dinner Dance. The theme of this years Internation Dinner Dance is a Big Fat Greek Party. The event, sponsored by the City’s Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee, will highlight Greece and its culture. Guests will enjoy unique cuisine, riveting music and live entertainment – all with a focus on Greece. This signature event is set for Saturday, September 27 at the Coral Springs Marriott at Heron Bay, 11775 Heron Bay Boulevard. It will begin at 7 p.m.with a cocktail hour. The event will feature breathtaking dancers, exquisite costumes and scrumptious Greek cuisine! Tickets are $55 each and will include hors d’oeuvres, lavish buffet dinner, complimentary dinner wine and a live show. There will also be a Silent Auction with unique items of cultural interest. Ethnic dress is encouraged to lend even more of an international flair to this delightful occasion. Sponsors are needed to make this evening even more enjoyable. Tickets will not be sold after September 22 and will not be available at the door.
