MLK Art & Literary Exhibit

Stop by the Coral Springs Center for the Arts to view the winning work of students from Coral Springs. This year’s MLK Art and Literary project honors MLK by focusing on the theme – “Dream of Love and Peace: In Color”

Boca Raton MLK Day Tree Giveaway

We’ll be passing out FREE TREES with the City of Boca Raton on Monday, Jan. 15th during the City of Boca Raton’s MLK Day Celebrations.

Must be a City of Boca Raton Resident to receive a tree.

Species Options:

Fruit Trees: June plum, Barbados cherry, Starfruit

Native Trees: Gumbo limbo, Paradise tree

Trees will be passed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two trees per household (1 fruit tree).

All trees come in 3-gallon containers.

Locations, tree species, and times subject to change.

Celebrate the Arts

Enjoy an afternoon of hands-on participation in the visual, performance and literary arts. Activities are offered for all ages to express artistic talents, including the popular 28-foot-long Graffiti Wall, and an open-air art studio for painting and pottery hosted by Young at Art Museum. Performances from local schools will be ongoing.

Rock The Park Free Concert Series

Completely Unchained: The Ultimate Tribute to Van Halen

The 2023-24 Rock the Park Concert series are free, outdoor, live musical events held on the first Friday or select Saturdays of every month, November through May. The events take place at Pine Island Park, located at 320 S. Pine Island Road. Each event features live music by a local band and food trucks. The trucks start serving at 6:00 p.m. and the music begins at 7:00 p.m. No dogs allowed.

Participants are encouraged to bring their blankets and/or lawn chairs to set on the lawn while they enjoy tunes outdoors.
